| HOLLIN HEAD: ACCOMMODATION
The interior of the cottage has been tastefully modernised
whilst retaining typical Lakeland features such as oak beams, an
open fireplace, cupboards set deep into the thick granite walls
and flagstone floors in the kitchen and dairy.

Downstairs, a spacious hallway with hooks for coats
and a wide selection of books, maps and information about the area
leads to a sitting room with comfortable sofas, an open fireplace
and a widescreen TV with video and DVD player.

On the other side of the hallway is a dining room, with a large
wooden table that sits eight people comfortably and a piano perfect
for late-night singalongs!

Next to this is the kitchen, equipped with a fridge, gas oven
and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, hifi system and
filter coffee machine. And, opposite the kitchen, the old dairy,
with a fridge freezer, tumble dryer, iron and plenty of space
to dry out wet walking boots and clothes.

Upstairs are four bedrooms, each with a washbasin, wardrobe and
dressing table, except the smaller single room which has a clothes
stand instead of a wardrobe. Bedroom One has twin beds, Bedroom
Two has a double bed and Bedroom Three has three single beds.
They all have window seats and wonderful views over sheep grazing
in the fields against a backdrop of the fells. Bedroom Four has
a single bed and looks over the cottage's secluded garden.

The spacious bathroom has a WC, sink and bath.
Apart from the kitchen and dairy, the cottage is carpeted throughout
and has central heating.

There is a small garden at the front of
the cottage, and behind it is a large walled garden with mature
trees and flowerbeds. There's a lawn for children to play on,
a patio with garden furniture and an outside lavatory. The garden
has magnificent views of the fells and is completely private.
In fact the views from all the windows in the cottage are fabulous.
